05.02.2026 - 15.35 - Gefahrstoffeinsatz ABC-Zug, Überlandhilfe - Gefahrstoffaustritt, Erich-Kästner-Straße, Stutensee- Blankenloch

Zwei Kameraden der Abteilung Oberderdingen, die sich auch im ABC-Zug Karlsruhe-Land engagieren, waren am Donnerstagnachmittag, 05.02.26 im Einsatz. Um 15.35 Uhr wurde die Feuerwehr Stutensee, der Gefahrstoffzug Karlsruhe-Land-Nord, der ABC-Zug und die Werkfeuerwehr KIT von der integrierten Leitstelle Karlsruhe mit der Alarmmeldung „Gefahrstoffaustritt groß“ zum Hallenbad in die Erich-Kästner-Straße im Stutenseer Stadtteil Blankenloch zu einem Umweltschutz- bzw. Gefahrstoffeinsatz alarmiert.  

In einem Technikraum des Hallenbads in Stutensee-Blankenloch kam es aus unbekannten Gründen zum Austritt von Chlorgas. Dies führte zu einem umfangreichen Einsatz von Polizei, Feuerwehren und Rettungsdienst. Die Kräfte des Gefahrgutzuges rüsteten sich mit Vollschutzanzügen aus und erkundeten den Technikraum. Parallel dazu bereiteten die Einsatzkräfte des ABC-Zuges die Dekontamination der Einsatzkräfte vor. Währenddessen wurde das Bad geräumt und etwa 100 Badegäste in einer angrenzenden Sporthalle medizinisch betreut und untersucht. Zwei Personen wurden in ein Krankenhaus gebracht. Den Einsatzkräften gelang es, den Austritt von Chlorgas zu stoppen. Zur Sicherheit wurde ein Düsenschlauch vor dem betroffenen Bereich in Stellung gebracht, um mit einem Wasserschleier zu verhindern, dass Chlorgas entweicht. Nach umfangreichen Belüftungs- und Messarbeiten verließen die Einsatzkräfte gegen 19.30 Uhr die Einsatzstelle.

Die Feuerwehren waren mit rund 120 Kräften und 24 Fahrzeugen im Einsatz. Außerdem waren Fachberater, der Rettungsdienst und die Polizei vor Ort. Einsatzende war gegen 20.15 Uhr

Der ABC-Zug Karlsruhe-Land wird Einsatz im durch die Feuerwehren Bretten, Oberderdingen und Kürnbach gemeinsam gestellt und betreibt den Gerätewagen-Dekon-P sowie den CBRN-Erkundungswagen. Der Gefahrstoffzug Karlsruhe-Land-Nord wird gebildet von der Feuerwehr Kraichtal (Abteilungen Menzingen und Münzesheim) und der Feuerwehr Karlsdorf-Neuthard, die unter anderem den Gerätewagen-Gefahrgut GW-G zum Einsatz bringen.

Größerer Einsatz von Polizei, Feuerwehr und Rettungskräften nach Chlorgasaustritt in Hallenbad - Mehrere Personen verletzt

Stutensee. Mehrere Personen, darunter auch Kinder, erlitten am Donnerstagnachmittag bei einem Chlorgasaustritt in einem Hallenbad Atemwegsverletzungen. Feuerwehr, Rettungskräfte und Polizei waren mit einer großen Anzahl von Einsatzkräften vor Ort.

Nach bisherigem Kenntnisstand trat gegen 15:30 Uhr aus bislang unbekannter Ursache eine unbekannte Menge Chlorgas in einem Hallenbad in der Erich-Kästner-Straße im Ortsteil Blankenloch aus. Mehrere der rund 100 zu diesem Zeitpunkt anwesenden Badegäste klagten im Anschluss über Reizungen der Atemwege, die überwiegend vor Ort in einer angrenzenden Turnhalle von den eintreffenden Rettungskräften versorgt wurden. Zwei Personen mussten für weitergehende Untersuchungen in Krankenhäuser gebracht werden.

Die Polizeikräfte vor Ort flankierten und unterstützten die Rettungsmaßnahmen. Alle Absperrmaßnahmen rund um den Einsatzort konnten gegen 17:30 Uhr aufgehoben werden.

Die Ermittlungen zur genauen Schadensursache dauern an.
