17.05.2026 - Ausflug der Altersabteilung Großvillars nach Meersburg

Meersburg/Großvillars. Vom 14.05. bis 17.05.2026 machte sich die Altersabteilung der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Abteilung Großvillars zu ihrem ersten gemeinsamen Mehrtagesausflug nach Meersburg auf – und der hatte es gleich in sich. Entgegen aller Wettervorhersagen zeigte sich Petrus überraschend gnädig mit unserer Truppe. Statt Dauerregen gab es immer wieder Sonnenschein und beste Stimmung am Bodensee.

Besonders begeistert waren alle von der wunderschönen Altstadt von Meersburg mit ihren urigen Fachwerkhäusern, kleinen Gassen und dem herrlichen Blick auf den See. 

Auf dem Programm standen außerdem die Insel Mainau, das Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen sowie der beeindruckende Rheinfall in Schaffhausen.

Ein absolutes Highlight war jedoch das rustikale Weinstüble der Winzergenossenschaft Meersburg. Dort wurde eine ausgiebige private Weinprobe durchgeführt – natürlich streng im Rahmen kameradschaftlicher Weiterbildung.

Für zusätzliche Unterhaltung sorgte auch unser neuer Schlachtruf. Einer rief lautstark „FIRE!“ – worauf der Rest geschlossen mit „OLDIES!“ antwortete. Allerdings verstanden einige württembergische Kameraden beim „FIRE“ wohl eher „Meier“, was regelmäßig für Gelächter sorgte. Hier besteht also durchaus noch etwas Übungsbedarf. :-)

Vor der Heimreise sorgte die Hotelrezeption noch kurz für etwas „Einsatzstimmung“. Nach kleineren Diskrepanzen konnte aber auch diese Lage erfolgreich abgearbeitet werden.

Den gemütlichen Abschluss unserer Kurzreise machten wir anschließend noch im Waldenserbesen in Großvillars. Da der Ausflug bei allen so gut ankam, wurde dort direkt schon über das nächste Reiseziel diskutiert.

Ein besonderer Dank gilt unserem Obmann Peter Kruse für die Planung und Organisation des Ausflugs. Ebenso bedanken wir uns bei Uwe Silber der sich bereit erklärt hatte, die gesamte Truppe sicher und zuverlässig durch die Gegend zu chauffieren.

Fazit: Vier tolle Tage, viel Gelächter, beste Kameradschaft – und ganz sicher nicht der letzte Ausflug der Fire-Oldies.
