16.10.2025 - Der Landkreis Karlsruhe behält einen Naturschutzbeauftragten und gewinnt zwei neue Unterkreisführer für das Ehrenamt hinzu

Im Ausschuss für Umwelt und Technik, der am Donnerstag, 16. Oktober, im Panoramasaal der Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft in Karlsruhe tagte, waren mehrere ehrenamtliche Positionen neu zu besetzen.

Im Bereich Bevölkerungsschutz waren für fünf der insgesamt acht Unterkreise die Führungspositionen neu zu bestellen, deren Amtszeiten regulär nach fünf Jahren am 31. Dezember 2025 enden.

Bernd Schirmer wird zum Unterkreisführer für die Freiwilligen Feuerwehren im Unterkreis Pfinztal/Weingarten, damit zuständig für Pfinztal, Walzbachtal und Weingarten, bestellt. Er folgt auf Patrick Grünewald. Neuer Unterkreisführer für die „Obere Hardt“ wird Bernd Nagel, der als Nachfolger von Jürgen Essig für Malsch und Rheinstetten zuständig sein wird. Kontinuität herrscht in den Unterkreisen Untere Hardt, Lußhardt und Albtal/Ettlingen. Daniel Antonowitsch (Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, Graben-Neudorf, Dettenheim, Linkenheim-Hochstetten, Stutensee), Bernd Prautzsch (Oberhausen-Rheinhausen, Philippsburg, Waghäusel) und Markus Fuhr (Ettlingen, Karlsbad, Marxzell, Waldbronn) wurden für weitere fünf Jahre als Ehrenbeamte berufen. Landrat Dr. Christoph Schnaudigel dankte den neuen und alten Unterkreisführern sehr herzlich für ihr Engagement.

Ein weiteres wichtiges Ehrenamt im Landkreis bekleiden die insgesamt acht Naturschutzbeauftragten, die die Arbeit der Unteren Naturschutzbehörde im Landratsamt Karlsruhe unterstützen. Das Gremium bestellte Dr. Fritz Prosi aus Philippsburg bereits zum vierten Mal zum Naturschutzbeauftragten mit der Sonderzuständigkeit für alle Baggerseen im Kreis. Seine neue Amtszeit beginnt am 1. Januar 2026 und beträgt fünf Jahre. Auch ihm dankte Landrat Dr. Christoph Schnaudigel für seinen Einsatz.
